Company was going through a financial crunch and needed to update their employee cafeteria and restrooms throughout the building. In the cafeteria, the team put in brand new ceilings to with height variations to create a dramatic design focal point, which also created a more light and airy space. Brand new LED light fixtures, and re-use of existing furniture and glass partitions, enabled an economically and environmentally friendly design. To ensure a more welcoming environment, the design team created new “community tables” to foster more interactive social communication for their workforce.
The restrooms were given a complete face-lift. The existing plumbing and fixtures were neither economically feasible moving forward, or environmentally friendly. The design team created a sleek modern design with brand new environmentally friendly fixtures, including low flow toilets, automatic sinks and soap dispensers, along with brand new LED lighting fixtures.
