The residents of this small downtown Brooklyn apartment needed a few custom ideas to maximize their space. We installed upper cabinets which are only 12″ deep as base cabinets with a custom tow kick along one wall. Installing custom shelves for spices and a peg board over the heating pipe not only to let heat out but as a place to hang pots added additional storage to an otherwise unusable space. Every inch of this kitchen was designed to add value to the client and work for their needs.
The Bathroom was updated from the original 1950s design to a clean and modern look. We installed blocking in the walls next to the shower and toilet, since the clients grand mother would eventually be moving in, they needed to be prepared to put grab bars in when the time came. As an added feature we build a soffit over the window in the living room with lighting in it.
