East 75th Street Apartment

The apartment was designed as a new retreat for a family arriving from overseas. The design team collaborated with the clients on each and every level. All of the architectural details were specifically designed to compliment the clients’ furniture being shipped in. Anxious to ensure both the design and the environment were hospitable for this newly arrived family, the design team worked with the clients, contractors, Co-op board, and management company to assure compliance with their restrictions- including working hours, noise level limitations, and time limits for deliveries. The site was visited multiple times per week to make sure all of these requirements were met, including directly overseeing all contractors’ and workers’ conduct. Needless to say, this family won’t be leaving these shores, or this apartment, for years to come!
